WWJD?

What would JONI do?  As part of my commitment to support local artists I finally ordered two tees from Joni at Walking Colors.  Yesterday my day was made when the postwoman arrived.  Do you know that in addition to the two tees~ she stuffed it full of some of the most amazing pressies I have ever had the pleasure of calling mine!  I thought I would put together an outfit worthy of Joni's funky Seattle style.  Here goes :)
She sent me this yummy warm colorful scarf!  The Betsey Johnson turban hat was a gift from my friend Tammy for my Birthday.
I thought this sweater looked like something she would wear.  Here are the gorgeous tees she made.
The top one is for Chris and the Vespa one is mine!  Here is me today rocking it!  I am also wearing a cool skull barrette from Dolly Cool.  She has some really adorable stuff for sale too!
Joni also sent this killer guitar print!  Her art is so amazing in person!  You can find her shop here.
This will look right at home in his office! Also included was pair of cool galaxy leggings!
I about died when I saw this bright bowl from Zihuatanejo, a place I have longed to visit since I was a teen.
Incense, a skull pencil, the most bad ass beaded bracelet ever,  a silver and purple barrette, pink handcuffs (I have plans for those) and a Betsey Johnson case.  NO WAIT THERE IS MORE!
The sweetest pair of fingerless gloves!
This CD because she knows I like shaking my ass.  It's a japanese band with a sound from the 60's and it's totally groovy.  The coolest purple and orange ring!  I had eyed one similar to this a year ago and to have it on my finger now just feels like it's right where it belongs!  The sprinkle one is a skull ring from  Dolly Cool, I'd show you what I bought from her but they are gifts for other people.
and here is the bracelet she wore in her last post when she teased us all and asked if we could guess what item she was sending me.  I love how it feels on my wrist.  Wearing things made for me or gifted to me are way more special than anything I could ever buy for myself.
Joni you made my day with your generosity!  Sometimes it just blows my mind how well you gals know me.  I am lucky to have you all in my life!

Joni is fabulous! What a wonderful set of gifts, so perfect for you. As the proud owner of some of Joni's art myself, I know how great her work is, and she chooses excellent presents too! Her t-shirts are so cool, and I am loving the leggings and the jewellery. You're right, wearing things made or chosen by blog buddies IS special. As for the handcuffs... Have you been a naughty girl, Krista?! Or just planning to be?
Great Joni tribute outfit, love the frock and the turban and I could definitely see her rocking the skull sweater.
I hope you two get to meet up soon - except I will be jealous that I'm not there too! xxxxxx

And I was going to guess the cuff on her blog but then went with the cross... I love Pizzicato Five. I saw them live once in Vancouver many years ago. TOOO groovy. And I like your turban too!

Krista!! Tears came to my eyes when I saw that sweet picture of you wearing that scarf. I bought that in Alaska two years ago and it just says YOU in every stitch.
You know, I use to have a sweater much like that one, except without the cool skull and is better than the one I had back in the late 70's. I gave it to someone because they forgot their coat and were cold. But it made me happy to do that.
Looks like the beaded work bracelet fits you perfectly! They're getting a little tight for me, especially in the summer when it's hot out. But I plan to buy more when I go again this coming December. The colors in this particular one look gorgeous with your hair. You had to have it!
I can see how this gift package sending can be contagious. And now, I'm going to thank you properly via your e-mail for the wonderfully thoughtful surprise you sent me!!!!!!!!! And then I'll post them on my blog too. Talk to you soon!!
